Many consider communicative language teaching the most effective approach to language teaching. In an effort to portray the best practices of CLT, we will contrast previous approaches to language learning and point out the key aspects and best practices of CLT. Activities, assumptions, tasks, and exercises will be evaluated and critiqued.
